Online Therapy for Adults in Florida

Why Do I Feel, Think & Behave the Way I do?

I provide online psychotherapy to adults throughout Florida who want to better understand recurring emotional, relationship, or behavioral patterns that can feel confusing or difficult to change.

I am a clinical psychologist with more than 15 years of experience. My work focuses particularly on complex trauma and difficult childhood experiences, relationships and intimacy, unwanted or complicated attractions, and compulsive sexual behavior.

I also have extensive experience working with Orthodox Jewish clients from the widest array of backgrounds and communities.

Often, the difficulties we experience in adulthood make more sense when we begin to understand the experiences, beliefs, and ways of coping that helped shape them.

I am licensed as a psychologist in New York and registered with the Florida Department of Health as an Out-of-State Telehealth Provider. Sessions for Florida clients are provided online.

MY SPECIALTIES:

Complex Trauma, Difficult Childhood Experiences (C-PTSD)

Difficult early experiences don’t always remain in the past. They can affect how we experience ourselves, respond emotionally, handle closeness and conflict, and relate to the people around us.

Therapy can help identify the connections between present-day struggles and earlier experiences—including patterns that may have once helped us cope but now interfere with the life or relationships we want.

Relationship & Dating Confusion

Some people find themselves repeatedly drawn into relationships that don’t work. Others struggle with attraction, uncertainty, intimacy, rejection, or losing interest when a relationship becomes more serious.

Rather than simply telling you what decision to make, I help you understand the emotional and relationship patterns that may be influencing what you’re experiencing.

Unwanted or Complicated Attractions

Attraction can sometimes feel confusing, distressing, or inconsistent with what we consciously want for our lives.

I work with adults experiencing a range of attraction and sexual identity questions, including unwanted attractions, same-sex attraction, fetishes, and recurring attraction patterns that are difficult to understand.

My approach is individualized and exploratory, with the goal of helping you better understand your particular experience rather than assuming that the same explanation applies to everyone.

Pornography & Compulsive Sexual Behavior

Pornography use and other sexual behaviors can sometimes become repetitive or difficult to control, particularly when they begin functioning as ways of managing stress, loneliness, anxiety, shame, or other emotional experiences.

I help clients understand both the immediate triggers and the deeper emotional patterns that may be maintaining these behaviors, while developing practical strategies for responding differently.
