Understanding Attraction: A Three-Part Professional Training Series

Brief excerpt from a previous training presentation

I’m currently developing a live professional training series exploring how attraction shapes dating, relationships, and clinical decision-making. The series is designed for therapists, rabbis, educators, matchmakers, dating professionals, and others who regularly help people navigate these questions.

Registration will open soon for October/November 2026.

  • Fifteen years of undergraduate and graduate psychology teaching including serving as Chair of Psychology at Touro College South and Director of Clinical Training at SUNY Old Westbury Counseling Center

Professional Consultation

For the last ten years, I have been regularly providing ongoing clinical consultation and support-as-needed, for therapists as well as for rabbis, educators, parents, mentors, and others seeking thoughtful guidance regarding confusing patterns of attraction, dating, relationship decision-making, and questions of sexual identity. Many consultations involve helping someone think through a single situation or question without the need for ongoing meetings.

Brief consultations typically last about 30 minutes and are $150. Longer consultations can be arranged when appropriate. If you’re unsure how much time is needed or whether my approach is the right fit, please contact me below and I’m happy to think through what would work best.

I particularly enjoy providing ongoing or as-needed clinical supervision for therapists seeking to deepen their work and learn how to thoughtfully apply a variety of psychodynamic and trauma-informed approaches. Please contact me directly to discuss further information and to learn how my approach might be right for you.
