Therapists often encounter clients who feel strong attraction toward others before truly knowing them. Clients often assume that strong attraction signals compatibility, destiny, or identity. Lack of immediate attraction may also be misinterpreted as a sign that something is wrong.

This training presents a clinical framework for understanding distinct patterns of attraction and the psychological reward systems they can activate. Recognizing these patterns can help clients interpret attraction more clearly, make thoughtful relationship decisions, and identify opportunities for growth.
